A little bit about me in regards to
Visual Design Services & Visual Designs by Chris....

I have worked in the printing industry since 1992. Starting out at the front desk and working my way into the graphic design position and then managing the shop and overseeing the employees for both shops.

In 2000, I decided to go out on my way and started a company called Visual Design Services. I work with a limited clientele in order to keep my customer service at a high standard. I create the graphics needed for printed materials and also Graphics for their web based campaigns.

In 2004, I decided to venture into working on the files for scrapbooking digitally and also cutter files (gsd). I now have broadened Visual Design Services. In 2007, I became an exclusive designer of Cutter files for Paperthreads. Cutter files are for personal cutters, i.e. the Klic-n-Kut, Craft Robo, Wishblade & Silhouette.

I enjoy the creativity and the path my life has taken. I, also, enjoy working with my husband in our Information Technologies (IT) business. It is a growing and expanding business serving Arizona.

I look forward to everyday and where it will lead.

Me in the Community....

It is my belief that what you give in life will come back to you whether it be a smile or just pure appreciation for others around us. In that effort, I enjoy supporting different causes throughout the community.

In the past years, I have volunteered with many different charities. For ten years, I was involved with the American Diabetes Association and their local gala. Being on the planning committee for this event was a wonderful experience and I enjoyed working with all of the volunteers in coordinating the evenings events. My husband and I like to support local groups that are equine related. Being horse owners ourselves, we can see the benefits of the program of Therapeutic Riding of Tucson on those with special needs. We support the local Tucson Rodeo Committee. Another charity I enjoy donating to every year, that is phenomenal in helping others, is Youth on Their Own. I have also offered my assistance in graphic design for the National MS Society with their golf tournament. And am currently supporting an organization near and dear to my heart called Colton's Friends. Wherever I can help, I am happy to.

I can only hope that everyone can do their part. in their local communities even if it is only to lend a smile to the person walking by.
