2016 Peacock Birthday Card Front

2016VDBC_PeacockBirthdayCardI find it fun to try to get an intricate cut with as few pieces as possible.

This card has a layered approach where you can just cut two layers and use a stamp.

Or you can cut the smaller pieces to glue behind the top layer. Anyway you’d like.

This file is offered in svg.

Enjoy!

For I know the plans I have for you, Jeremiah 29:11

Jeremiah2911_VDBC2016A friend asked me for this file so she could put it up in her home. This file is offered in an svg. She was happy with it. Yes, this cuts in many pieces which is not my normal style but excellent for vinyl or cutting a template from transparency and using it to paint. I hope you can use it. If you do, I would love to see a photo to share here. Thank you.

2016 – Pumpkin with Fluorish

pumpkinwithfluorish_VDBC2016As many know, I love to use flourish on different pieces.
Here is a 3 layer cut of a pumpkin. If I could carve pumpkins with any skill, I would create them like this with beautiful scrolls and cuts.

This file comes in an svg and is for personal use only.

Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Tree Bird Card Front 2016

I need a new stash of cards. Simple and quick to put together. I thought I would share them here with you.

This file is an SVG.  The green is one piece (except the bird). and the brown curly tree has a frame it is attached to for easy layering.

Love You to Pieces

loveyoutopieces_PamSA friend asked me to create this. I cut it for her in transparency and sent it to her. So she could stamp it some for her nieces. Hopefully, she will send me a picture to share here with it.

I did however, post this to the VDBC Crafting Fun Group on Facebook early. So I wouldn’t ruin her families surprise.

Thank you to Pam S. for sharing her take on the file.

2016 Beach

Working on some other items and these shells inspired me after a great vacation. A multi- layered file with pieces you can use in many places. Enjoy! Chrisbeach_vdbc2016

TBT – Apron Invite

My Throwback Thursday Post today. Pulling some older items and adding them to my current blog. This file was part of one of my past Quarterly Membership Clubs. If you want me to add this to the KNK store comment below and I will work on getting it uploaded. For now here are some more photos. Enjoy! Chris

Here is a really cute invite created by my friend Heidi with my apron invite from the qmc. This file has the words “you’re invited” and the apron cut in the file. My friend is throwing a cookie decorating party. However, you could this invite for food parties, cookie swaps, or food drives for your local food bank. How about cute thank you’s for that after the dinner party hostess gifts. Or a gift card holder for dinner out. I just can’t stop thinking of the ideas. I hope you cut it and enjoy! Have a wonderful pre-thanksgiving evening. I am resting and hoping my cold goes away before tomorrow and tonight my guys make their apple pies. Lots of great sights and smells.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Enjoy!
Chris

Here are some additional photos of the invite with the apron opened up a little and to see how it is made. Enjoy!

This photo you can see the glue dot on the left just barely where it holds the pocket closed.

and here is one with the invite inside the pocket of the Apron.
