Hey all! I'm back!! It WAS my modem...they finally replaced it (can you believe they wanted to charge me $100 for a new one? My old modem was 6 years old! After much discussion (and a few threats to go to a competitor), they finally agreed to send me a new one free of charge....and they credited my account for lost internet time!

In the meantime....I found out that they are eliminating my job! They've offered me another position with the company, but not salary and at a lower rate of pay! I'm trying to decide if I'm going to accept the job or take my severence package and get out of dodge! The ONE thing that is holding me there is that I have already started the surgery process (I'm getting a Gastric Bypass) with my insurance and I don't want to mess that up or slow down that process! Decisions, Decisions!

Anyway...now that I can actually get on the net and stay on the net, I'll update all the threads! SORRY GUYS!!!

PS -- My mom is doing better....she still has good days and bad days, but don't we all? We take her to Therapy twice a week for her back and it seems to be helping.

Glad your back! Aren't companies fun? Well since my DH lost his job and then a week later (knock on wood) found a job. I'd say do the other job but look for one that is comparable to what you are use to. Or just use them to get your surgery. I can't believe I just typed that..but that is what they did to you. Anyway make a list and talk it over with family and friends. Good luck!:D
