We are going to handle this month"s challenge a little differently then most months. Chris as been busy restoring her computer and has not had a chance to work on files for this month's sketch. I told her not to worry. We all have oodles of files waiting to be used. So, this month I will post 2 sketches for you to work on. The challenge will be finding just the right cutter files to embellish. Remember to go back through the previous month's sketches, all the files are still there. I know I haven't used them all. in fact, the November die cuts would look cute on this card. Have fun and find a file that has been hiding on your hard drive. Have a great December. Rosalie

This sounds good to me. I have lots of files to cut already, including all the sketch challenge ones I haven't used.

Chris' trouble is a good reminder to be backing up my files every day. I don't always take the time. And I still need to burn a CD and put it in the safe deposit box. If our house would get damaged, I'd lose the backup's, too, since they are in the same room. Not a cheery thought!

An excellent reminder. I am interested to see what everyone comes up with. I apologize for not having the files ready to go, but there are alot of past files. :-)

Thanks everyone for participating in these over the past months!
Enjoy!
Chris

Here is mine. I have used the circular sketch. This is a pic of my son, Nicholas, decorating our tree last Christmas.

I have used Sharon's Poinsettia file which was a freebie on her Blog recently.

Thanks for looking :)

Caz-- I never would have thought to use the card sketch for a layout! Thanks for the inspiration. I have some exams to correct the next few days, and then I hope to get ready for Christmas and have a little time to scrap! Thanks again, Rosalie

Caz,

I love how it turned out, I was wanting to use my poinsettia on my tree, but its blue and white, and didnt know how it would look, but now I do. Looks like I will get busy cutting.

Thanks for sharing.

Here's my version. It still needs some journaling.....

I was expecting a ton of time to myself to scrap. I was very very wrong!

Anyway, we have had a really nice Christmas holiday thus far, so I can't complain.

Here is my calendar page I did using the sketch - LOL - It doesn't look anything like the sketch but I started out using it. That sketch got me jump started on the wall calendar.

Sorry about the lousy picture. I took another one without the flash but it was out of focus :(. And I didn't realize it. and since I took the pictures at my Mom's and was home when I looked at them - I couldn't take another - lol.

The top border and journaling box are from the August 2009 Challenge files. Snowflakes are from Sam and Hailey Designs Itty Bitty Snowflakes (JB00225) at http://www.paperthreads.com/. And the snowman charm is from www.acharmingplace.com
