All right here we go... And those mods who can edit can put names in. Just keep in the order in the forum of the posts. and also put done in the post. thank you!

UPDATE
Details: You will make 5 tags for your group. This means you will get 4 back (Minus) your own which will go to the hostess. Or if your group is short and it isn't closed you make one for each person in your group and yours goes to the Hostess (so if 3 sign up you make 3 and get back 2 as one goes to hostess).

All tags must be embellished at least 2 times. Minimum size will be 5" long by 2-1/2" wide. They can be bigger if you like..

These will be great embellishments for layouts, cards, presents, etc.



Please package each group in it's own ziplock bag labled with your name and your group. Please also sign your work on the back. We want to be able to give the proper credit when we use your fabulous work.

When sending in please send the amount of postage plus a little extra in case I need to buy an envelope for you. (I throw all the postage in an envelope and pay for everyones at once out of whatever I have collected)

Sign up by June 15th (Those groups with less then 3 will be closed)
This is due and post marked by August 1st.

Hi Heidi,

Thank you for joining, I signed you up. And I did give you 2 christmas categories. So that mean, you make 2 different christmas tags. In sets of 5. (most of us are doing 6, that way we can gift one to the Hostess).

You can be as creative as you feel with the tag swaps. You just need to use at least 2 things (See first post for examples). Try to think of what you would like to receive in a tag and go with that, if that helps any.

And yes. You can mail them all together. You just put each group in a baggie, with your name and address and the group your in. And mail all together. Make sure you include postage in the package, what it cost you to send plus a little more. Incase Chris needs to get a envelope or some thing.

If you have any more questions or need help or ideas, just ask, we will be happy to help out.

Hm, thats a good point!

So l guess if we send in 5, you will only get 4 back, One being for the hostess.
So you wont get yours back. You can just make extras to keep for your self when you make the 5.

It is under the general scrapping section. I just went and printed more of them. I love it. I have an oversize scrapbook with clear pages in it I never used. So I Put the project sheet in and when I go to print out pictures I then go through the binder and print a bunch of them out. and when i see a paper I like I put it in there. the plan is to be able to take it to my sisters once a month and work on projects. this way i have a bunch of pieces together as I see them. I haven't been great at completing, but I have been better about getting little projects organized for Christmas thsi year by using it. Okay I am rambling. It is stickied so it is at the top of a section. I am pretty sure it is general scrapping.

It is a cuttlebug embossing folder and I cut the tree out, sprayed with tattered angels mist, then pieces colored with pens and a charm added in the center.

So what do you think? It's very shimmery but you can't see that in the scan:(.

I also have ideas for my birthday and summer groups. Will post an example of those in a couple of days I hope:).

You will get 4 different per catagory back. One goes to the hostess. So if you want some of the tags you make, then make sure you make extra for your self to keep.

and thanks for all the compliments. I made one weeks ago and have looked at it and looked at it trying to decide if I liked it - lol. I finally decided I did so when I joined the swap decided to do it. I did use a darker green glimmer mist on most of them.

and BTW - I'm in two Christmas groups but if you all like it enough, I'll do it for both groups. Actually, I've already made enough for both groups then thought - OH - I need to do something different for the 2nd group - lol.

Just wondering, as im getting ready to finally start on these.

I know the Minimum size is 5 x 2.5 but what size are yall making your tags.

Can they be a little bit wide, That would give me more room to play with. LOL!

Most are coming in at that size Sharon :-) I am not sure it matters if you go wider, but that's what most are.

mine are 5" x 2.75" as I wanted to use some designs that just wouldn't fit on the smaller width. Hope this is okay 'cos I have already cut them all out! :)

I have a question...simple I know but I want it out there so everyone knows... I am going to a crop the end of this month, I am planning on getting these done then, is this ok with everyone?? Basically they MAY be a day or so late but will go in the mail priority the next day. I usually have nothing to do when I go to crops because I never know what to take but i have these in bags ready to be put together and thought it would be a great idea to work on.

With Jill C. with Family for the past 4 days and Kristal camping the same 4 days. I had no one to IM with. So I had a lot of free time to get several things caught up. LOL!

So I did all my 3 sets of tags. And designed the files for 2 of them.

So Here are my tags, Well, I have to say, One is the shape of a tag, But I think the other two look more like a card front to me. LOL

I think I know what my Christmas cards are going to be this year. LOL.

Okay, So I have one birthday1, Christmas 1 (Candle Sticks), Christmas 2 (Santa Hat)

I used my just rite stampers, Heat embossed with Queens gold, Water colored with Tombow Markers, Used stickels, Rhinestones, Pearls, Bow easy to make the bows, Foam dots, And ink on edges, Cuttle bug and Spellbinders.

And, I designed the files for the one circle Christmas, and the birthday tag, Im working on my own file for the second Christmas tag, And will be a collection in the store soon.

Hope yall like them.

These are absolutly gorgeous Sharon--they look more like cards than tags--just beautiful! I have it on my list to start these, I have some ideas. I have 6 anniversary cards cut out, just have to assemble, I have 2 more BD cards to do then I'm set for July-August. I have to work lots the last 3 weeks of July, almost full time and going on vacation myself in August--so I better get it one. Also have these tags on my list--I want to be uber creative and have an excuse to play with my inks!

Yes, I believe so, I marked those I have in the first thread. I haven't updated the actual signup list, but started a purple lettering saying I had gotten them. I didn't want to open them until I start to swap them. trying to keep it all together and organized.

I just someone would ask me that question LOL Most of the files I used were shrunk down to fit on my Tags. Some of the files were modified to make them simpler to use in the smaller size.

Wow Caz, amazing tags--here are photos of my 2--with working more than usual this summer, my crafting time is not so good. Today is my only day off this week and I spent most of the day cooking--to get stuff in the freezer for later. Here are my tags

Oops--meant to attach and hit the wrong button--dang I hate that!

For the Christmas one--I made a stencil from a thicker transparency, one of Chris files and used embossing paste, used my cuddlebug to emboss the swirls on a white precious metals paper, created the Peace myself.

The Spring one--I had the heavier patterned paper, stamped a floral background stamp on the white paper that I swirled with distress inks and pearl glimmer mist, then I added rock candy and pink distress stickles. It was fun! Sorry the sparkles don't show up well on the photo.

All right folks... I have swapped them all out. Took me about 3 hours to swap and package. And they are done! Woohooo!!

these are all soooo beautiful. wow. My son last night was oohing and ahhing over them. I am gonna take a shower and get ready for the post office. if I have time in between I will post all the pics on my blog. I took pictures by group. so if you see your tag you will see who you are with.
