If you have a few prayers to spare, my Brother-in-Law needs them. I am posting this here instead of my blog because I am not sure how much my nieces know and I know they read my blog from time to time, but also hope that the prayers circles can include him.
After a few really rough colds ending up in pneumonia they have found out that he has a very rare disease in his lungs. they are rushing biopsies and runinng tests and then sending him to Colorado to get another opinion, but they are to the point where they are considering a lung transplant.
He just turned 40 has 3 beautiful girls and is their champion in life. He is my son's godfather and uncle. The family is in prayer mode in hopes that even tho' they know a lot of his lung is already affected by the current tests that maybe some miracle or some test will prove the first diagnosis wrong.
So if you have a spare prayer. I would be thankful if you send it Jeff's way. I try not to ask for to much in life because so many others need so much more and I feel so blessed. We will abide by God's plan, but we know we still need him in our lives.

Thanks guys. My MIL just called and she is just stunned. There have been other difficult things going on. But in talking to her she is just stunned. I think with her heart condition she just wants everyone and everything to be "okay" just in case. Operating on 15% of your heart on a daily basis is stressful enough. I have a feeling we will be heading up to see the family this weekend to make sure they know we are their to support them. HUgs

Well he is still going through testing. Apparently the kids are out of the loop right now, but the family is still saying prayers and we should have test results in the next week and find out if he is going to Colorado. one day at a time.
Thanks for asking. And I appreciate the prayers.

My prayers and thoughts are with your brother-in-law and family. Miracles do happen by prayer and/or the miracle of modern medicine. I pray for good health and healing for him soon.

Well he had a second opinion from a doc here in Tucson. Rather then heading to Colorado right now. Our cousin set it up for him. She actually works for Organ Donor Network. So as soon as they got her involved she called a local specialist and a visiting specialist and had him looked at.
Right now I guess they are in a holding pattern because it is so rare they are trying to decide in which manner to proceed.
He feels like it is consuming his life so decided to just stay on the course in life he was in. And before he was diagnosed he signed up for the National Guard. He was military before. So today He has his swearing in ceremony. He basically said he is going to take life by the horns and not wait for it to run him over.
So we are all going with that mentality mixed in with alot of prayers. We will see how it goes.
Thank you so much!
Hugs

Keep the faith Chris. I am living proof that prayers work. Not to go into detail, but 7 years ago I had my 3rd open heart surgery and had complications...had a stroke, in a coma for 6 weeks, etc. Was not given much of a chance then and then told me my prognosis was about 3 years. I had so many prayer groups and people I had never met praying for me. It is now over 7 years and I am still here. It is all thanks to God and his wonderful miracle. I will pray for your whole family for healing and strength.
