June 2011 Bingo

Get ready for some Bingo fun!!

1. You will choose 15 words from the list of 31 below.

2. You will send an email to VDBCBingo@gmail.com (VDBCBingo@gmail.com) with your list of words. Also, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR FORUM NAME in the subject line. DEADLINE IS June 5th at 12:00am (midnight) EST. First word will be called on June 6th. So don't wait, get your list in today!

3. Everyday you will need to check back to this original post in this thread, and see if one of your words are called! All words called will be updated in the next post, SO, it will be up to you to come back here and check! I will usually call one word a day, but you never know when I might call it. So you will need to be on your toes and check in frequently! Who knows, there might be more than one word on some days! Also watch for our challenges. Which will be posted with the word called for the day

4. Once all 15 of your words are called, post on this thread. The first to post, calling BINGO, will win! (I will verify the winner with your selected words that you emailed! There can be no tie, because the winner will be determined by the FIRST PERSON to post on this thread calling BINGO!)
That's it! This is one of those "must be present to win" games... you have to call Bingo yourself in order to win, so it's up to you to keep checking!

5. After Bingo is called, we will pick a "Biggest Bingo Loser". Here's how it works...I'll take the first 3 posts stating the number of words needed and the one with the most uncalled words from that group will be our winner. I will also verify this.

I just sent in my words Ginger--looks like a wonderful game! With my DD recently engaged, we are already talking about lots on this list--we've been watching the TV show "Say Yes to the Dress"--the dresses are amazing and some of the brides/families are such a pain! I sewed my own dress and have told DD I'd make hers--but she tells me I don't have time! Hmm--guess that is true--but making my own was so much fun!

After seeing what I went through sewing prom dresses for my 2nd oldest daughter, one of my good friends kiddingly asked me to promise I would never make a wedding dress for one of my girls. So far, I stuck to it, although I made my dress and altered dresses for my other 3 girls for DD#1's wedding. Oh- and I sewed green satin long ties, to match the bridesmaids' dresses, for my sons.

Next time, I think I may just order dresses! Too much to do toward the wedding date.

Class started a few days ago for the summer and time is becoming a commodity I am running out of here lately. Trying to split my time between my daughter, my boyfriend and school plus a few other projects I have going on, it is getting hard. Elizabeth I can't tell you how glad, I am that you can do this months Bingo. Since the weather has finally gotten better, we have been doing all the things we should have already done. Making ground and hope to be all caught up in the next couple weeks. Thank you Ma'am!:cool:

Happy Anniversary Lisa and Kelly--safe travels to Pam! Woo hoo--I'm at 7--which is good news after a rough day at work! I have a question--for the wedding project--I and DD have created little wedding planner binders--the front cover was created in photo shop by DD and I--we are both learning and she "drove" the computer while I sat next to her--does that count? I need to take a photo of it--we keep creating pages for it too which is fun--to keep wedding ideas etc in.
