December 2011 Bingo ***Words are in!***


This will be a power bingo! Fast moving!!

Get ready for some Power Bingo fun!!

1. You will choose 15 words from the list of 31 below.

2. You will send an email to VDBCBingo@gmail.com with your list of words. Also, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR FORUM NAME in the subject line. DEADLINE IS Dec. 10th 12:00am (midnight) EST. First word will be called on Dec. 11th. So don't wait, get your list in today!

3. Everyday you will need to check back to this original post in this thread, and see if one of your words are called! All words called will be updated in the next post, SO, it will be up to you to come back here and check! I will usually call one word a day, but you never know when I might call it. So you will need to be on your toes and check in frequently! Who knows, there might be more than one word on some days! Also watch for our challenges. Which will be posted with the word called for the day

4. Once all 15 of your words are called, post on this thread. The first to post, calling BINGO, will win! (I will verify the winner with your selected words that you emailed! There can be no tie, because the winner will be determined by the FIRST PERSON to post on this thread calling BINGO!)
That's it! This is one of those "must be present to win" games... you have to call Bingo yourself in order to win, so it's up to you to keep checking!

5. After Bingo is called, we will pick a "Biggest Bingo Loser". Here's how it works...I'll take the first 3 posts stating the number of words needed, AFTER BINGO IS CALLED, and the one with the most uncalled words from that group will be our winner. I will also verify this.

Sorry I haven't been around- I keep telling myself that the next month will be better, but I can't count on it until next summer. I have so much schoolwork to do by the end of the semester that I doubt if I stand a chance at calling Bingo, but at least it will remind me to get on the forum. 16 credits wasn't this hard when I was young and single.

Just did a sleepover for my youngest- 10 12 year old boys overnight, and it went great. Now I need to get back to studying German vocabulary and write a paper in French, but it was good to check in on all of you.

I am done with my Christmas shopping! I had to get the grandkids' gifts done by Thanksgiving so we could take them with us rather than ship them. I finished up all the rest (gift cards, etc.) on Monday.

I'm having minor foot surgery on Monday and will be off my feet for a week or so so I had to finish this week. Might be a good idea -- can't spend money if I can't go anywhere!

Christmas shopping is almost done, just a gift card to grab, chex mix done, and cookies started (hubby baked the sugar cookies since I didn't feel well. I did mix them up for him). Outside tree and porch is done, no inside tree (not sure if we will even get it up). Salt scrub made, now to make the tags and start wrapping. I like wrapping and decorating the packages the most. Then eating some cookies. :D

The only thing that seems to be going faster than this game is the way my Christmas prep time is disappearing! I cannot believe how much I need to do. Glad we had the relatives here for Thanksgiving and not Christmas.

Hubby brought a tree home, and I need to find lights tomorrow. Spent tonight doing my algebra homework- and feeling lots of sympathy for my kids!
