Same here. I love to host swaps. I have done them for 2 yrs straight. Then off and on after that. I love it.

Maybe I will think of some theme and go from there too.

We did a page kit swap with a group here, so we did not have to pay for shipping. We each chose a theme a made a page kit. We just provided paper and embellishments, but I have seen swaps where the page were complete and you just had to add photos.

Just an idea. Rosalie

I would be game for a recipe swap. I could give it to my niece for Christmas. She has decided she needs to know how to cook now that she's been married 3 years - lol.

The one I did was broken up
Appetizer 2 or 3 spots
dessert 2 or 3 spots
maincourse 2 or 3 spots.

And you had to make 6 of the one you sign up or 9 depending on how many signed up.
Then you had a wide variety. I signed up for two and got two books. Ended up with 9 recipes. very ncie!

I was in a series of recipes swaps (6x6)...one month we did appetizers, the next month we did side dishes, then main course, drinks, desserts, etc. I've got a recipe book that is OVERFLOWING!!! I guess I could cull some of them out and give them to my niece as part of her gift....but MAN, I DON'T WANT TO PART WITH ANY OF THEM!!!

Maybe I could just color copy them....now that's an idea!!

I would love to see an atc swap but as I'm in Australia Think it would be better to be handled in the U.S.A . Would be delighted to be a part of it.

I would love to do a ribbo swap, oh wait, I already am in one... but how about ribbon OTHER than SU!! I am a ribbon addict to the core.

Another great idea is an ABC book. Pick a theam (Disney, Girl) then everyone picks a letter and makes 26 of each. The one I did we did a description, tag, 2 embeishments and a ribbon. It was fun to get it back and make an album. the one I did was a disney album, so each person took a letter with a charater I had B for Belle, others were C for Cinderella, O for Owl, T for Tigger etc...
just an idea

How about a planner swap? Usually have 13 participants. One usually the hostess creates the covers for everyone, the others select a month and makes 13 of them. I've done this several years on another web site and it's great. this year we're not doing it there - not enough interest.

Here's the October page I did ...

October 2009 (http://visualdesignsbychris.com/forum/album.php?albumid=5&pictureid=24)

This was a 6x6 planner. I'll be glad to hostess and do the covers and email everyone the calendar template. We'll need to get this going quickly if we want to get it completed by the end of the year:).

I'll go start a new thread to see if there is any interest.
