Gymnastics, Yard Sale, ramble ramble ramble..
We went to gymnastics today. It was alota fun. I love to see my little one running around and trying out all the different things. Balance Beam, Trampoline, Foam Pit, all of those… except we have a weird phenomenon in our little household. My son has decided to talk in third person. To refer to himself by name instead of with I or me. It is interesting, but he did it in the middle of soccer practice and at the gym this morning. The other parents look at me like I have some tumor growing out of my head. I smile and say. Oh yes this is our new thing have any idea on how to break it? They all shake their heads and smile and walk away. yeah I am not one of those Mom’s who sits there and chats during gym. I am standing next to the foam pit getting the rope for the next kid. Jumping up and down on the spring boards (Definitely sports bra time. Does anyone have a suggestion of a good brand because this one is shot) And of course my secret pleasure the trampoline! My little one will sit on one end and I will bounce around him and shoot him off the trampoline. he can’t stay seated. he giggles and giggles. It is lots and lots of fun. What a great way to get ready for the weekend.
My weekend will be fun I hope. I have plans to visit a Scrapbook store in Phoenix that is having a yard sale on Saturday night. It is not far from my brother’s house and so I think I shall drop off my guys and then head over there to check it out. They are open ’til 9 pm. Lucky for me. Scrapbooks Etc. in Mesa. My hubby thought it was crazy they were open til 9. I thought it was wonderful. And he said in his most wonderful husband voice. Do you want to just drop us off at your brothers or do you want us to come with? Will it rush you? because if it does you can just drop us off. I SOOO LOVE THIS MAN. He goes to craft fairs with me and hits the antique shops, can change the oil in my truck. looks great on a horse. and builds things like you have never seen. Phenomenal. that is all I have to say. So to not put him in any misery I will be heading to the “Yard Sale” myself. Hopefully it will be fun. I haven’t been to one. Wish me luck!
Well I am holding back on files so I have lots to add to the next quarter membership. So this is why you are getting lots of my rambling rambling going on. And I have been working on my craft room. Three trash bags of stuff out. two stops at goodwill. My craft room seems to be the catchall. Well the stuff is moving out!

I have added members to the 2nd membership in the forum. I am starting to get emails asking me for the password. The password will go away on the 1st. I just wanted some time to get everyone uploaded to the section so I can start uploading files on the first. So if you see it and can’t get in it will all open up on the 1st and the 1st section will disappear. Here is a picture of how it looks now.
So if you are not seeing this area, you may be one of the few that I couldn’t find a forum name for you. So email me with your order number and forum name and I will look into it.

Well tomorrow is Thursday and that means I am not in the office so I will be getting files together and trying to iron out some details on the files I have in the works. YEahooo!! I have had a few creative bursts the last couple days. SO I am excited about that. Tonight is soccer practice so I better run.

The Weekend and Pay It Forward
Well how was your weekend? My Easter was very nice. My son decorated eggs for the first time. Yes the last few years I have skipped the tradition kinda. My sister-in-law was excited to get to do it. So we dipped and dyed 11 eggs because egg number 12 met with an unfortunate and tragic accident. Then hid them the next morning for the egg hunt. Got to spend some times with my brother and his wife before the luncheon festivities. It was wonderful. very nice dinner and great conversation. We had a wonderful time and made it home on Sunday evening with a little time before dark or next week chores for me to start on the great purge in my craft room. I took the first load to goodwill this morning. My craft room seems to be the dumping ground for alot of things. So I am getting the craft room cleaned out and then I will move on to the storage shed. for that one I might as well back the truck right up to the door. I am not even sure what is in their anymore. I didn’t get anytime to create files this weekend, but my hubby was probably relieved I left the computer at home and didn’t worry about checking email. So for all those who did send me notes.. I am getting to them one by one. My apologies for being slow. Mon-Weds are also my office days and today was a long one. Usually I head home to work on cutter files in the afternoons but today I had some reporting and paperwork to do. Yucko! But it’s done. So I feel accomplished and my hubby and I got to bat around some ideas for business and of course we came up with a few new ideas. We are like this …. lots of ideas for business and possibilities. It is fun and energizing for us. One idea will just steam roll. Okay I am rambling.
So taking it literallly…. My little one and his uncle and my hubby are “playing” indoor football on a patch of carpet my brother and his wife just purchased. It is rather large patch of carpet but either way it was the “field” for this man vs man vs child game. Which my bambino did a good job of trying to throw everyone down so he would win. But the cutest moment. My brother says… You are the quarterback. So my son says okay. And he puts his hand in his pocket, pulls it out empty but holding something imaginery. My hubby says… What’s that?? He says.. It’s my quarter and you can have it back. Silence. and then giggling had completely by all the men in the room. and my little boy grabbed the ball and ran it in for a touch down while everyone kept giggling. He is pretty smart after all as he did his touchdown dance! Love the moment. Love the life.

We made it to Friday. Woohoo!! Hope you have great plans for easter. Little seek and hide easter eggs, baskets galore etc… oh and those little cadbury eggs. hmmm.. I actually am not big on the candy in my son’s basket. He gets enough from the grandparents. So I bought him one of the new Backyardigans DVDs. Some binoculars, little drink bottles with a cool core ( he will love putting these in the freezer) and a few little candies. I am looking forward to the jaunt to my brother’s house. I can tell he and his wife are sooo looking forward to having a family holiday in their home. Should be a fun and busy weekend with a little driving involved, but this is fun to because my hubby and I chat about interesting things. Some of it business related and some of it house. Just depends on the mood.

So there is a little sale running at Paperthreads today to celebrate the anniversary of the forum. This is kinda cool. I love visiting the Paperthreads Forum. Also in the QMC thread we have started an ideas list for next quarter so I can copy it and keep it for next time around and work from it. If you have an idea.. please add it there. or you can email me of course. Also, the last word book letters were added. so make sure you get them and download them all as soon as you can because March 31st and that membership will be removed from the forum to make room for the new one.

Today is nice. I have all the windows open. My little one is playing in the sandbox outside. the laundry machine is running like a madman. I think I might get some time to cut some files out today and test run them. It is just a beautiful day! It would only be more perfect if my hubby was here to enjoy it and I could listen to him workin away on this fort. It is getting there. Just a few rails left and wahhhlaaahh. It will be an excellent pirate ship. I found this little pirate online last night and recolored him a little to print out on my sons party invites. He is cute so I thought I’d show you him.

This is sooo wonderful. I created this file thinking hmm… I think it’s cute. Will anyone else think it’s cute?? And Wow did Karen add the punch with her style to the file. There are two of my files on this page. One is the file I Sea You and the other is the Fish Jumble. Thank you Karen for sharing it with us!
And this file is one of my Borders that Sussann also from my Creative Team sent me. This made me want to run out and cut it in a bunch of shades and then contact Heather about Rubber Stamping again (and drive her crazy) and make a bunch of cards. It still does. So I think this weekend I will cut some of these borders and make a bunch of cards with them if I can get a chance. Maybe Friday afternoon. Very nice and thank you for the inspiring shares!!

On to life… So guess what?? You knew it??? I am assistant coach again for soccer. Luckily practices will be a little bit later in the day, but my son is excited!! The next few weekends are super busy with family events we have a confirmation and Easter this weekend, then a nephews baptism, then a nieces baby baptism (I am the godmother! Yeah), and then my little baby Bambino’s birthday after that. woohoo! So he won’t miss soccer for a bit I am sure. We will be heading to Phoenix to visit the family and have Easter at my brother’s house. Will be a nice change of pace.
last night we celebrated St. Pat’s day with the in-laws. It was a lot of fun and loving and warm family. We all ate and were merry and chatted. It was wonderful. Then we were invited to one of the cousins bday parties. A roller skating party. Should be fun. My hubby can skate like a crazyman. I have no balance with this load up front going on. So I am like the little bobble head dolls with my arms sticking straight out. trying to keep up. If we can make it, it will be the first time my little one has skated. Should be an interesting party for a cousin who I think is around 25 years old. Should be a lot of fun if he can get lots of family out there. The giggles in that family are contagious.
I better run. It’s getting late and I have to finish up some things.

WOOHOO!! Almost friday night
Almost Friday night for me! and I am excited. I am making a pizza. I take the Rice Crust Cheese Pizza they sell at Fry’s which is gluten free and add chunks of chicken, sun dried tomatoes, and usually green chiles to it then of course extra mozarella. Why I am excited? It is not often I have this pizza and tonight my hubby has decided to have a pizza to. He is not a fan of red sauce, but I found a place for him with speciality pizzas called Magpies. It is our first endeavor. So we shall see how he likes it compared to the pizza hut version. We have a movie to watch and hang out to and I think I might pour myself a raspberry lemonade. Not something I do often either but it is Raspberry flavored because of the Bacardi Razz. It has been a long hard week and I am ready for the weekend. A Raspberry Lemonade sounds right up my ally.

A few new files are coming to the store. So I thought I’d share them with you here. The Cruise book is the one I created for the Cruisers and have been asked 
to upload it to the store. The Friends Word Book is also already up in the store. I love the way the letters are accented with two layers. And I love the fun font of the Friends Word book. Hopefully the others will be up some time this weekend.

I also am excited today because of something called DRM. I actually can’t stand DRM. do you know what it is? Digital Rights Management for those MP3s you can you buy online or the itunes you can buy online. It means that you have a certificate on your computer that Manages that MP3 file. I purchased and downloaded a few music files at different times for my MP
3 player. (Yes I did MP3 instead of Itune) and it worked for a while then I realized they didn’t anymore. I couldn’t find the download certificates to make them function again. And so about 20 bucks out the window because the store I got them from wouldn’t reup. So I am an anti music downloader. Well you wonder what my excitement might be….. Well I learned today that Amazon.com does not have DRM MP3s you can download them and be a good steward and responsible for following the use of the TOUs. THank you Thank you for someone treating me like an adult. So I will be hotfooting it over to Amazon to check it out and if it honestly is as true as the three articles I have read about it. Wish me luck this is the weekend I head to the next soccer mom meeting to see if I will be elevated to soccer coach status. I am hoping not. I did okay as the assistant, but I really am not that coordinated unless it comes to a computer file. Kicking that ball is obviously not my forte. You realize this when your almost 4 year old son rolls his eyes at you. And rolls them so much you think his eyes might twist the membrane in the back so he can’t see anymore. And then possibly not see my atrocious soccer skills. But alas. If no one puts there hand up, I will. It is in my blood to volunteer and recently I have had to step back again from a few to many volunteer positions in order to focus on those that really need me. And of course those non-volunteer positions like clothes washer. This is not a voluntary position, however, I would love to give it up. I have had the machines running all day and I still have piles loaded up. So hopefully everything will work out.
Also, thinking this weekend I might see if I can get some fresh garden dirt and stinky amenities to add to it and plant a few seeds. It is warm enough here consistently to get those plants going. I over plant way to much. I figure the more plants the less weeds but it doesnt always work out that way. so I am going to try to keep it under control. The rest of my garden. other then the beds is in an uproar because my hubby helped me rip out all this crab grass and block to put down ground cover and new brick that is waiting for the path and some other things. When I started this garden I really had no idea how nice the trees would fill in and just be wonderful to stand in the middle of out of the heat of the sun. So glad my hubby puts up with my limited abilities to move things and hoe and helps me out regularly.
Well I am a rambling… so I am gonna sign off and find my ingredients for pizza. Have a wonderful weekend!!

PS. by the way… The 3 year old negotiator who lives in this house with us has been working in his room to pick up all the books he dumped off the shelves. I have heard negotiations of… I could do it when Daddy gets home so you can talk. (trickery this one is, he knows Greg and I like to chat for a few moments and he has to leave us be while we talk) ……My leg is hurting so I might leave a few books down because I can’t bend because I would need to be good for soccer. (luckily we don’t have soccer tomorrow, so I told him it wouldn’t be a problem, he still couldn’t come out of his room ’til they were picked up) …….the next was that he likes how the books look on the floor (hence the reason for picking them up, Mommy doesn’t like them on the floor) ……..That it takes to long to read them while putting them all away so he may need to do the rest tomorrow (Again my comment is you still can’t come out of your room til their up whether you read them or not while putting them away) …….When I get bigger I won’t have to do this because I will be bigger (AHHH yeah.. Okay back to your room til your finished) …………And the last is a crashing noise in his room which I walk back and peak in his room. He is lieing on the floor on his back with his black cape spread out around him with his eyes closed and says without opening his eyes.. “I am working to hard, I am hungry and now my hands hurt” (My response.. Keep going when your hands feel better because you still aren’t coming out of your room ’til they are all up) Oh I AM a Wicked Mother. TTFN.

So today is Thursday wooohoo! I have a bunch of files to get completed. The download today is part of a beach wedding collection I was asked to put together. I will be sending it to the person who requested as soon as I get the whole thing converted. It may take me a while to do a request because I have a long list, but I do send them to the requestee. Yes my blog changes again. The one with the background just seems to drag. I would rather you have a easy viewing experience. Last night was our first trip to Chuckee-Cheese. My little one was thrilled. Took him a few times to get up the huge tunnel to the maze on the roof, but when he did he was soooo impressed with himself. WOOOHOO! I did it. We heard. We were chatting with the other soccer team parents and my little one ran over apparently he got confused in the maze of tubes and finally found his way out. I looked at those tubes and thought holy smokes if he froze up there, how would we get him out. Well he got himself out. We have a pretty phenomenal bambino. This weekend is our last before craziness time. We are out of town and in town and round about and then having a Pirate Birthday party for my little one. He has shown me the catalog with the pirate party items and is ready to have a bash! Should be fun.
I better run. lots of laundry and files to work on. ewww and dishes to 🙂

What a nice layout. And its one of my new files. I have a collection of elegant beach items coming out. We are headed to the beach in July. I haven’t been to the beach in years other then the lake. I am so excited!!
Then we have a file submitted from Vicki on the Creative Team. Using some more of my Love Curly Mattes/Frames & the Blank ones (there is two files in this pack for veratility). Still love the curls in this file.

Wendy sent me these and I love all of them. I especially like the Curly Frame tipped on its side. And the Zoo Scrapbooking layouts have made me think about taking our little one to the zoo while soccer is on a break!

On to life.. So you know every morning my hubby is here my son yells from his room. DADDY are you staying home today and we discuss the difference between Saturday and Sunday and the rest of the week. This is a regular conversation. Well today he came out and said. Can you just stay two minutes and play Legos with me? And he gave his best super cute impression with the dimples showing. I guess he figurd no more discussing lets go for bribery. I thought this was cute so I had to share. My relatives give me such a hard time about the 2 minute countdowns. We have two minutes to go, two minutes your done etc. I feel if you are being told what to do you might as well have forwarning something is gonna happen in two minutes. No complaints no arguments about it then. Just the knowledge it is happening in 2 minutes. But can I say it is miserable when it s turned on you!! IN 2 minutes MOM ahahah.
