My biggest goal today is to get those Challenge links out. So I am going to make this short and sweet. The other reason being I am home today with a stomach flu kiddo. Poor thing. Can’t decide if he has the stomach flu or to much sugar over the weekend. He seems to have a very sensitive tummy like his Mom. I am off to keep converting!! Have a wonderful day!!
Enjoy!

Hibernating here in Ohio!
Well, the weather has been very cold and full of snow here in Ohio! Last Tuesday it started snowing and didn’t stop until noon on Wednesday. Needless to say the area was in lockdown.
I wanted to post some of the layouts that I have done that I hadn’t posted to the blog-
For Valentines day…the heart cutout.
Live, Love, Laugh cut file
This one has 2 files with cars and the Road Trip file
Sting of the bat file…how cute is this project?
I hope that you are staying warm…or that you are in warm weather!

weekends over
Well the Super Bowl was fun to watch so I didn’t get to finish the challenge files like I thought I would so. On that note I am still working on them and will be sending out the emails as soon as I get it together. I have saved them all in a folder to send to. Just a heads up.
Thank you to everyone who hit the sale this weekend…
I have a ton of emails to catch up on…
so off I go.
Have a wonderful day!
Enjoy!

Last Day for the Sale!!
Today is the last day of my weekend sale. Whatever you are interested in it’s for sale.
Have a wonderful day today I hope you enjoy the Super Bowl no matter what you do. My local scrapbook store is having a Super Bowl Scrap. My Mother-in-Law is having us all over. I am just looking forward to the time spent with family. So whatever you do whether it be watch football or ignore football or just a Super Bowl Football watcher enjoy your afternoon.
Don’t forget to check the Sale and the new files and Collections.
And if you haven’t upped for the QMC yet. It is still in the store for a bit for this quarter.
Enjoy!

Sometimes a layout just needs a little something as a final touch. That’s where I added the arrows from the Essentuals file #CD00277. I used the arrows as bits for journalling as well. Fonts are Sizzlets funky brush and a block font from my local scrapbook store’s die cut area. I cut the BAND out of some gold scraps that were on the die cut table left from the previous cutter – perfect! Allowed me to create a visual triangle with the gold of the trumpet (a Jolee’s sticker) and the trio of brads in the upper corner.

~I am blessed!~
I know this may look odd without the photo but there is a reason. I still wanted to create a layout for her 7th grade portrait but also wanted to honor my daughter’s request not to display it so it is tucked away into the pocket page at the end of her 7th grade album. Why do schools take photos on a hot day right after gym class?? Duh! Anyway, I used a scribble from the Foofaraw Collection #CD00309. Patterned paper is old Basic Gray. Brads are Spare parts. Tag is stamped with a PSX set called Antique using chalk ink. The tag is pinned on with a Heidi Grace pin.

This was a part of the January Make it Your Own challenge as well as the January sketch challenge. I used the music jumble from #CD00437 and the January challenge free file for the scalloped rectange and the tag. The muscial-themed ribbon was from my local scrapbook store. The tiny notes are a punch. I used the Basic Grey font to stamp the title on the tag and then inked the edges with chalk ink and added a piece of red ribbon. The photo is pop dotted and then the tag is pop dotted with dots two high. Gives a real 3D effect in real life.
